Referred to as "Wayne", like Batman, Bruce Wayne.
Hello, I’m Wynnezel Wayne Naoto P. Akeboshi — a software engineer, AI researcher, and educator passionate about building intelligent systems that create real-world impact.
My latest role was as a Software Engineer at Attendly, a U.S.-based startup, where I design and implement AI workflows that drive product innovation and lead rapid prototyping for the company’s expansion initiatives. My role blends technical problem-solving with strategic product development, helping turn ideas into scalable AI-powered solutions.
Alongside my industry work, I serve as a Part-Time Lecturer at De La Salle University, where I teach in the Department of Manufacturing Engineering and Management. I also contribute as an organizer and facilitator for NVIDIA AI Training, empowering students and professionals to adopt AI tools and practices in their own fields.
My academic journey includes both a BS and MS in Manufacturing Engineering from De La Salle University, with a focus on data science and artificial intelligence. Over the years, my research has explored the application of AI across healthcare, manufacturing, and aerospace. I have presented internationally on topics such as quantized convolutional neural networks for satellite-based land use classification and AI-enabled diagnostic tools for medicine.
What excites me most is the intersection of AI research and practical implementation — bridging the gap between theory and real-world impact. Whether in startups, classrooms, or conferences, I am dedicated to advancing how we build and use AI for meaningful and sustainable progress.
